To reset the maintenance light on your Opel Vectra, turn the ignition key to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button until the maintenance light starts flashing. Release the button and then press and hold it again until the light goes out. The one with the rotary headlight switch. It appears that is must come out into the car, rather than pushed back through the panel. I've slipped a thin steel rule in along the top and bottom edges but I can't seem to feel any clips. I can't get anything in on the left and right side. I need the switch assembly out so I can get to the screw January 10, 2023 by Jason. Your Opel Vectra’s ABS Light comes on when it fails a self-diagnostic cycle. She has had a quote from Vauxhall to do a service including new plugs for £250 and they will extinguish the light at the same time. Now, I have never paid for a service in my life but I think £250 sounds a bit steep and she'd be better off going to an indy. But she's a woman and the most important thing to her is getting the light sorted out Any way of manually resetting this? Or is it doable with a pretty standard reader/comm port that most garages will have? Cheers! #2 I think it's pressing and holding the button on the odometer as you start the car. #3 most cars have a manual override procedure My citroen picasso you pressed the trip computer setup button while starting the car and it reset it. Quick google should reveal the result hopefully. Off to search for you now. #4 Cheers lads, I'm in work at the mo and internet access here is quite restricted #5 Just had to do this on my mums, had the service and they didnt reset the light: put your key in ignition but dont turn it hold your milage reset button until INSP shows (around 5 seconds) turn your key in ignition but dont start car, INSP _ _ _ _ will show press the brake pedal and it will reset to insp 19000 turn key back to off and there u go #6 vauxhallownersnetworkforum said: Not sure if anyone knows but you can reset your service inspection lamp on your Vectra C, Astra H and Corsa C & D with out the aid of any diagnostic tools. Simply press the trip reset button on the dash at the same time press the brake pedal then switch on the ignition, keep brake and trip pressed for 10 to 12 seconds and hey presto its done!! If you already knew that i will go back and crawl into my shell #7 Ive found another alternative Vauxhall 1999 onwards Turn Ignition Off Hold Trip Reset In Turn Ignition On Still Holding Trip Reset wait for three dashes Turn off Ignition Turn on Ignition to confirm One of us has got to be right. Try them all #8 Ive found another alternative Vauxhall 1999 onwards Turn Ignition Off Hold Trip Reset In Turn Ignition On Still Holding Trip Reset wait for three dashes Turn off Ignition Turn on Ignition to confirm One of us has got to be right. Try them all This. I have an '03 Corsa and this gets rid of it. No pressing of the brake required. #9 Ive found another alternative Vauxhall 1999 onwards Turn Ignition Off Hold Trip Reset In Turn Ignition On Still Holding Trip Reset wait for three dashes Turn off Ignition Turn on Ignition to confirm One of us has got to be right. Try them all This also works on 52 plates. Best to check if is needing serviced because it's a common problem with the INSP warning coming on even when it's not due. Try connect new CIM to your car then connect tech 2 or op-com, go to body> CIM module> variant configuration programming. Enter code from your car, if you do not accept the code the CIM is not reset. Same thing wwith IPC cluster. If I helped you please add Thanks and Reputation!! I have the same thing. New unused CIM UY (13204146). It does not have EEPROM 93lc76 on it, EEPROM type is different, I'll write it later, can't remeber which one is it. I swapped eeprom from old CIM (UY), car started, everything works except steering angle calibration. Everytime I try it says calibration error. Also, there's a constant error in SAS communication. Tried with virgin dump in eeprom, same thing. Where do I go wrong with this one? Thanks in advance. Thanks given by:
